Hello Daniel, can you tell us a little about who you are and what you do at work?

I’m Daniel Stenborg, serving as Innovation Manager at Närsam in Kristinehamn. In addition to my professional commitments, I am actively involved in multiple entrepreneurial ventures. Furthermore, my cherished family plays a central role in my life, requiring a significant portion of my personal time. 

In the realm of innovation, one of my key responsibilities is to stay abreast of the various support mechanisms available for new and existing businesses. This includes both public and private sources of assistance. By keeping myself well-informed about these resources, I can guide and connect aspiring entrepreneurs with the appropriate support systems tailored to their specific needs. 

In what way are you involved in the project Lignin for Future and LignoCity?

Within the context of Lignin for Future and LignoCity, I assist in actively seek out businesses that can benefit from scaling up their technology within the LignoCity ecosystem or other suitable locations in the area. By providing guidance and facilitating access to relevant support mechanisms, I aim to empower these companies to leverage the available resources effectively. 

What do you do on an ordinary Tuesday at work?

On a typical workday, my schedule encompasses networking with local businesses, attending industry events and meetings, and forging connections that foster collaborations and partnerships. Simultaneously, I dedicate substantial time to researching funding opportunities and staying updated on the evolving landscape of public and private support for businesses. This enables me to provide valuable insights and strategic guidance to the companies I support. 

What is your favorite way to load energy after work? 

When it comes to relaxation and rejuvenation, I treasure quality moments with my family and nurturing my entrepreneurial endeavors. As a passionate fan of science fiction and fantasy, I find solace in immersing myself in captivating series that transport me to fantastical realms and ignite my imagination.
