LignoCity (also called “we” or “us” in the following text) cares for your privacy and in this text, we explain how our protection policy works.

What do we do with your information?
All information is used to provide, deliver and improve our services to you as a member or participant of events, seminars, or networking events. We process personal data based on the following purposes based on legal grounds:

Communication with you
We may process personal data when we need to communicate with you to provide relevant information regarding news, business intelligence, and invitations to seminars, events and networking meetings. Our legitimate interests for this processing are to keep you as a member/customer informed about our services and to be able to improve these. In connection with such treatment, we may use your contact information (name, e-mail address, telephone number).
What information do we collect?
You can directly or indirectly provide us with information about yourself in several different ways, such as when you visit our website or register for events/seminars/networking meetings. The information may consist of the following information: personal and contact information (name, mobile phone number, e-mail address, organization affiliation, position, invoice, and delivery address). We do not normally collect information related to sensitive personal information. However, in connection with certain events, where we provide ingestion, we may obtain information about food allergies. This information is only saved until the event is complete.
Who can access your personal information?
All our staff has access to the stored information. The reason for this is that all employees in some form carry out communication activities. In addition, hired, external consultants can gain access to information, but they only get the authority to see the information they need to be able to carry out their assignments.
What we will not do with your data
We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties unless we have your permission to do so.
How we process your personal data
We will mainly treat your personal data in Sweden. If personal data is transferred to any country outside the EU / EEA, we will take steps to ensure that the personal data continues to be protected and take the necessary measures to legally transfer the personal data to countries outside the EU / EEA.
How long do we save your personal data?
Your personal data is only saved for as long as there is a need to save them to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected.
Your rights
According to current data protection legislation, you have the right to receive information about when and how we treat your personal data. You also have the right, in some cases, to access your personal data or have them moved, corrected, or deleted. You have the right to receive information free of charge about which personal data we process (a so-called registry extract). Requests for such extracts must be made in writing and must be signed by you. Please note that we only disclose such information that we know for sure. You send this request to us by mail. Right to correction and to erase
You have the right to request that your personal data from us be corrected if they are incorrect.
You also have the right to have your personal data deleted. We are required to delete the data if 1) the data are no longer needed for the purposes for which they were collected, 2) you withdraw your consent, 3) the processing is used for direct marketing and you oppose the processing of the data, 4 ) you oppose personal data processing that takes place after a balance of interests and there are no legitimate reasons that outweigh your interest; 5) if the personal data has been processed illegally; 6) deletion is required to fulfill a legal obligation.
The right to limit your personal data
You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be limited, which means that we only process your personal data for certain specific purposes. We will limit the processing in the following cases: 1) if you claim that the personal information is not accurate, and we need time to check the accuracy of the data. 2) You object to the treatment we perform. In that case. 3) If you think we should delete the personal data, we cannot do this for any reason.
Right to object to treatment
In some cases, you have the right to object to us processing your personal data, say within a research or after a balance of interests.
